ATLANTA - PHOENIX - DESTINATION

I have always been an artist. As a little girl, I glued and painted and crafted - no Barbie's for me. I remember my godparents giving me a 35mm camera that I took countless photos with on vacations & with friends. When it came time to decide what to do with my life, I decided to go into Interior Design and Architecture - it was creative on a big scale and I could still have a little art in my everyday life. Again, after college, it was my parents this time who bought me my first 35mm SLR. (It should have been a sign.) But I moved to Atlanta and was hired at a large design firm and started my career. Shortly after moving to Atlanta and an encounter with a photographer, I was suddenly second shooting weddings part-time in addition to my day job. When I first volunteered to "help", I thought it would be just that - two weddings that I probably wouldn't enjoy and that would be that. I was wrong. I loved weddings. I loved the fast-paced nature of the day and seeing a couple's story unfold. And that was it, I was hooked. I spent years working both a full-time job and second shooting, eventually starting my own photography business and leaving my day-job to be a full-time photographer and I haven't looked back! I love my job and wouldn't trade it for the world. It is so rewarding to create art that your clients love and are so appreciative of what you've given them.

-I'm a daydreamer. You may catch me staring off into space, likely I'm dreaming up my next photoshoot or vacation adventure.

-I LOVE food. I'm definitely an eat-o-holic. My favorite food is, well, everything.

-I am truly inspired by nature. I love exploring new landscapes, climates & countries.

-Speaking of countries, my favorite is Italy by a longshot. I'd move there in a second! The food, the people, the culture, the land - oh the beautiful land.

-Besides photography, my other love is my little puppy dog. She's the best!
